TCJE focuses on strategic policy reforms that address the root causes of mass incarceration and create pathways to opportunity. Our current priorities include disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline through career-connected learning, advancing marijuana decriminalization to reduce racial inequities in policing and prosecution, and supporting restorative discipline practices that keep youth in school. Coalition Building

TCJE builds and sustains networks of youth advocates, families and friends of incarcerated people, formerly incarcerated individuals, and allied organizations across the Texas Triangle. Through grassroots organizing, social media campaigns, and strategic partnerships with local and national advocates, we amplify the voices of those most impacted by the criminal justice system.
