Community Services Agency of South Texas, Inc.
The Family Service Centers provide assistance to families with Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program funds (C.E.A.P.) CEAP funds are available to respond to the energy needs of low income households. CEAP has four different components: Energy Crisis, Elderly/Disabled, Co-Payment, and Heating and Cooling. The first three components assist qualifying households pay their energy bill, and the Heating and Cooling component repairs or replaces heating and cooling appliances for eligible households.

The SNAP food benefits (formerly known as Food Stamps) help people with low incomes and resources buy the food they need for good health. Medicaid Programs provide medical benefits for eligible low income adults, children, and families. CHIP offers a health insurance program for children.
