A free, faith-based program that teaches women job skills, life skills and Bible Study. Each woman also receives a mentor.

A free, 10-week, faith-based program offering classes in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. They also offer job skills classes, communications skills, ESL for Spanish speaking women, and a mandatory once a week Bible Study class. Women must be drug and alcohol free for at least 6 months before the program will accept them.

Interfaith Caring Ministries (ICM) assists southern Harris and northern Galveston County, TX, residents who have a documented financial crisis. Specifically, ICM supports qualifying individuals, families and seniors who live in the zip codes of Clear Creek and Friendswood Independent School Districts. ICM services include: emergency food, rent and utility assistance; medical assistance; vouchers for agency resale shops; and a senior outreach program. To evaluate if a person is eligible to receive services, an in-person assessment is mandatory. Hours of Operations: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.

Drug Court is a special program within the Galveston county Criminal Justice System. It is a court-supervised treatment program for participants with non-violent criminal charges who also have a drug or alcohol addiction. The program is voluntary and is the personal choice of participants. The Drug Court Team is present to guide and assist, but the final responsibility lays with the participants who must be motivated to make the necessary changes and commitments to drug-free lives.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a not for profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. They are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. The desire to stop using is the only requirement for membership. The meetings are free and anyone may join. Tri-County Area of Narcotics Anonymous includes Alvin, Angleton, Bacliff, Bay City, Clear Lake, Clute, Dickinson, Galveston, La Marque, League City, Pearland, Santa Fe, Texas City , Manvel and Webster.

The purpose of the Bay Area Club is to provide meeting places for numerous Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG) and other 12-step recovery programs. They are open 7 days a week and all of our meetings are non-smoking.
