Board Chair
Maria-Theresa Servillon Sigua is an Attorney at Law and is the Legal Liaison with the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC). She believes that Texas’ criminal justice system is in dire need of reform, requiring a critical transformation of public policies and practices within the justice system and a shift in public perception – all towards an end that demands equity and values the quality of life we impose on all human beings. This holds especially true for those who are marginalized, and those seeking redemption and mercy. As Chair of TCJE’s Board of Directors, Maria-Theresa proudly supports the organization for advocating for solutions that work for everyone, not just some of us.
